Advisory Services This section includes self-assessment resource audits covering the themes of Reading For Pleasure, Diversity and Pupil Premium. SLS can also be booked to undertake these audits on request, giving feedback on the day and can lead staff meetings with these resource themes. These services are included in the Service Level Agreement.

Reading For Pleasure Audit The 2023 report 'How does reading benefit children?' from the Book Trust outlines the importance of Reading. The RFP audit will help identify areas for development in your school reading culture.	Diversity Audit The Diversity Audit Forms will assist in auditing the various types of resources held within a school, assessing non-fiction and fiction resources in the library, class book corners, displays and English text drivers used in the curriculum.
Closing the Gap The SLS Pupil Premium Library Self-Assessment Form should help to identify areas where the school library can have an impact on supporting disadvantaged students and closing the gap, alongside a suggested booklist.
