The six winners of the Henrietta Branford Writing competition for children have been announced, and two of them attend Hampshire schools.
They are Hannah Davies from The Butts Primary in Alton, aged 9, and Amy Jewell from Burnham Copse Primary, also aged 9. The winners were chosen by Prue Goodwin. You can read their stories on the Henrietta Branford competition website.
In both cases, the schools read about the competition and encouraged their children to take part. As part of their prize, they met Jacqueline Wilson at a star-studded ceremony in London.
