In December last year, Jonny Duddle was voted the winner of the Hampshire Illustrated Book Award for Pirates Next Door.

He will be visiting Hampshire at the end of March to accept his Award, but in the meantime he personalised this picture for us which will go on display in our Bookshop in Winchester.

The text on the picture reads "To the Scurvy Crew of Hampshire!!! Thank you for picking me as yer best picture book, pirates!! I am a very happy sea dog…SHIVER ME TIMBERS!! ARRRR!! Jonny D".
