Messages about upgrading your library management system will start to come from software provider Micro Librarian Systems over the next few weeks. This note is to remind all hosted schools that Hampshire School Library Service are still recommending that schools do not upgrade at present.
We have spoken with Micro Librarian Systems and informed them that they should not upgrade any Hampshire schools to the Silverlight 5 version of their products, and that we will be informing our schools as such, so if you receive the message, you do not need to take any action.
As a precaution, if your school is moving from JL3 to JL.net, or from Eclipse2 to Eclipse.net hosted, or even from Eclipse.net local to Eclipse.net hosted, and has been asked to upgrade to Silverlight 5, please contact Vicki Marks to discuss your individual requirements.
We will inform all subscribing schools when the upgrade is suitable to be installed in Hampshire schools.
