NEW INTERACTIVE PRIMARY INFORMATION LITERACY PROGRAMME HAS ARRIVED

The Interactive Primary Information Literacy package is now available to all subscribing Hampshire SLS schools, via a course or complete directory download on the SLS Moodle or through Hampshire Wizkid by becoming a member of the Hampshire SLS Primary Subscribers Group.

Information Literacy encompasses those skills that children need to not only find information but also to recognise differences in types of information and how they need to record where information has come from. This package is designed to be used by those in school who are delivering information literacy skills to children.

SLS staff are able to deliver support in the implementation of the package across the curriculum, they can work with individual staff members, attend a whole staff meeting or deliver whole school INSET.   For further details contact the staff at the local area office.
