After 6 weeks of reading, reviewing, discussion and deliberation, Year 5 pupils across Hampshire have declared a winner. We are delighted to announce that the winner of the 2021 Hampshire Illustrated Book Award is Couch Potato written by Jory John and illustrated by Pete Oswald. This is a unique double in the history of the Hampshire Illustrated Book Award as they also won in 2019 with The Bad Seed.

Congratulations to all the authors and illustrators of the 6 shortlisted titles and many thanks to all the schools, their staff and the Year 5 pupils, that took part.
