The waiting is over 

After 6 weeks of reading, reviewing, discussion and deliberation, Year 5 pupils across Hampshire have declared a winner. We are delighted to announce that the winner of the 2019 Hampshire Illustrated Book Award is The Bad Seed written by Jory John and illustrated by Pete Oswald.

Congratulations to all the authors and illustrators of the 6 shortlisted titles and many thanks to all the schools, their staff and the Year 5 pupils, that took part.
