This Go for Gold reading challenge helps develop literacy skills, promote reading for pleasure and support cross-curricular work around the Olympic and Paralympic values.

We have a few packs left from the Spring, and subscribing schools can request free packs by emailing sls.events@hants.gov.uk.

The core resource pack contains:

• 100 Reading passports - which include information on the Olympic values
• 50 Pentathlon Certificates - to be awarded to students who complete 5 steps of the challenge
• 50 Decathlon Certificates - to be awarded to students who complete 10 steps of the challenge
• 2 posters - to advertise the challenge in school
