Hampshire SLS is delighted to announce this year’s winners and runners-up in the Hampshire SLS Pupil Librarian of the Year Award. Liz Weighell, Head of the SLS, had a really tough decision to make and in the end the award was split into a KS1/2 category and a KS3/4 category.

The joint winners in the Key Stage 1/2 Category were Gabe Hogben-Stephenson and William Moores from Westfields Junior School, Yateley, and the runner-up was Olivia Compton from Crondall Primary School, near Farnham.

In the Key Stage 3/4 Category, the winner was Claudia Gough from Crookhorn College, Waterlooville; and the joint runners-up were Emma Sanders from Wildern School, Hedge End, and Raoul Stancivc from The Vyne, Basingstoke.

The winning schools receive £250 worth of books for their library, and runners-up receive £50 worth of books for their school library. The winning pupils will receive a certificate and a medal, the runners-up will receive a certificate and a book, and their schools will receive a certificate.

Congratulations go to all our winners and entrants, and many thanks to the librarians in the participating schools for their support.
