The winner of this year's Hampshire Book Award for Year 8 pupils will be decided on Wednesday 1 July.

Voting will take place simultaneously in five venues around the county on Wednesday, with our South East region voting on Tuesday 30 June. The announcement will be made shortly before lunchtime at each venue, on our Moodle, on Twitter (@Hantssls) and on our website.

If you are registered to take part but cannot attend the event, you can submit your "postal" votes here beforehand. This can be done at any time from now, but they do need to arrive with us via the email address given on the form by 5pm on Tuesday 30 June. Votes which arrived too late would have made a difference to the result in both of the last two Awards.
