The winner of the Hampshire Illustrated Book Award 2014, as decided by Year 5 pupils across the county, is announced this morning:

The Day the Crayons Quit written by Drew Daywalt and illustrated by Oliver Jeffers. 

More than six thousand votes were cast, and The Day the Crayons Quit was deemed the out-and-out winner, with its next nearest rival behind by over a thousand votes!
