Our annual free seminar for secondary schools, Non-Fiction in the Spotlight, is now open for bookings. It will run on Monday 26 January 2015.

In school libraries around the country, information books lie gathering dust on library shelves, with reader promotion activity centred almost entirely around fiction collections. This year's free seminar for secondary schools will focus on the value of non-fiction collections and ways to make better use of them.

Our keynote speaker will be the author Anne Rooney, who describes her non-fiction writing as ‘wonder-mongering’.
