Annual Free Seminar for Secondary Schools Non-Fiction in the Spotlight – SLIB0129 Monday 26th January 2015
This year’s free seminar for secondary schools will focus on the value of non-fiction collections and ways in which to make better use of them.
Our keynote speaker will be the author, Anne Rooney, who describes her non-fiction writing as ‘wonder mongering’. Our other speaker will be Chris Brown, judge of the School Library Association’s Information Book Award. The session will also showcase good practice from schools around the county.
Although the seminar is free, we would still like you to book places, so that we have an idea of numbers. The seminar is not limited to library staff. Line managers and other interested parties will all be welcome.
