On 16th April 2013 the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust will launch a brand new annual cultural and learning campaign for Britain’s primary schools to coincide with the 450th anniversary of the bard’s birthday next year.
The aim of Shakespeare Week is to bring Shakespeare’s stories, language, historical backdrop and his creative influence vividly to life. More details will be announced in April on the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust website. See our Promoting Reading/Authors page for more.
