Dear SLS Moodle User, 

We hope this message finds you well. 

We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding your access to the SLS Moodle site and SLS Portal.  As part of our on-going drive to make accessing our services easier and quicker for our schools, we will be introducing a single school login to access both the Moodle and Portal from May. This will allow easier sharing of access within school and the ability for SLS staff to support with lost or forgotten passwords.  

Key Dates and Information: 

• New Usernames and Passwords: Between 22 April and 2 May, your school will receive new login credentials. These credentials are to be shared among all school staff members. 

• Deactivation of Current Logins: Your current individual logins will no longer be valid after 7 May. 

• Unified Access: The new username and password will grant access to both the SLS Moodle site and the SLS Portal. 

Enhanced Features on the SLS Portal: 

• Catalogue Search: Schools can now search our entire catalogue online and indicate the types of titles you would like in your book exchanges. 

• Resources: Check the range of story sacks, group sets, and mixed group sets directly from the catalogue. 

• Virtual Library Integration: All holdings on our Virtual Library, Sora, are listed with links to the platform for direct borrowing. 

We are excited to announce that from September 2025, the SLS Portal will become our one-stop shop for all SLS intellectual property, including booklists, guidance, and CPD resources, making it easier for all school staff to access.
