Due to the schools closure for the Coronavirus crisis,
Fiction Express, the interactive online reading platform for schools winner of
the Bett awards 2020, has decided to give free access to the platform for three
months to any school that requests it, allowing students to work on reading and
various related activities from home.
Schools can request access registering for free via the
website https://en.fictionexpress.com/coronavirus.
Once activated, student logins can be generated giving them
access to hundreds of books and thousands of activities online (and as PDFs). A
tracking and evaluating system for the results allows teachers to monitor what
their pupils are reading and achieving from a distance.
Fiction Express, an international company with UK roots, is
a unique and proven methodology, currently used in over 20 countries. It places
the pupil in the centre of the story-writing process. The books are written by
renowned authors and complemented by the creativity of the participating
readers, who steer the plot while the book is being written. This interactive
system encourages reading and helps improve reading habits.
We have a tutorial video available to help you use the platform,
please feel free to review this of how Fiction Express works in detail.
