Roald Dahl Centenary

The centenary of Roald Dahl's birth falls on 13 September this year. Roald Dahl is the world's most recognisable children's storyteller, with over 21 books for children, including picture books, novels and poetry.

The official Roald Dahl website lists all the exhibitions and events around the country which celebrate Roald Dahl, including a dress-up day in aid of charity;  Puffin Virtually Live invites schools to sign up to watch a live webcast performance of Matilda the Musical by the Royal Shakespeare Company; and the Young Writers website offers a fun and educational fact pack all about Roald Dahl for pupils to enjoy.
