Award winning author Jon Robinson (Nowhere series) is planning a week's tour of Hampshire schools from 3-7 October 2016.
Trevor Wilson at Authors Abroad says that Jon Robinson is one of their younger authors, a fast-rising star. Published by Puffin, his books are excellent for KS3 students.
Jon runs 4 x 1 hour sessions plus book signings in a full day. He mostly works with years 7 and 8, although he has worked with years 9 and 10 as well. This consists of a 45 minute powerpoint event with 15 minutes Q&A and time for buying/signing books. Jon is also happy to do workshops with smaller groups about creative writing and generating ideas, and is more than happy to be involved at lunchtimes to talk to school reading groups about getting published or similar themes.
