The Ordnance Survey has teamed up with EDINA for an exciting competition featuring Digimap for Schools and #GetOutside champion Steve Backshall. Combining geography, wildlife and photography, it's a fantastic opportunity for primary school children.
Any school in Great Britain with primary-aged children can enter the competition for the opportunity to bag a visit from Steve Backshall. To enter, schools will need to use the Digimap for Schools online map service to create a map annotated with photos and text showing signs of wildlife around their school. Schools do not need to subscribe to Digimap to enter.
While the grand prize is Steve Backshall coming to your school to speak at your assembly and taking the winning class on a wildlife walk, there are other prizes up for grabs too.
Visit Digimap for Schools to find out more about the competition and sign up for the trial.
