The Makery

The Makery is all about learning and creating using the latest creative technologies, our STEM offering is under pinned by a pedagogical approach. Sessions are delivered in schools by our skilled team and will be customised to your schools specific curriculum topics, but still delivering the Computer Curriculum's objectives and out comes. 

SLS Makery is a flexible digital STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) offering which has been equipped with high specification equipment. The Makery offering was created for schools and children to develop a love of STEM and learn to develop new skills and experiment with creative digital concepts in a collaborative style under pinned by a pedagogical approach.  Our equipment includes; Laptops, Apple iPads, Lego EV3 Robotics, Raspberry Pi and Crumble kits for explore coding, electronics and the world of micro computers, 3D printing, and more!

We deliver educational school sessions offered at competitive pricing, these sessions will introduce children to the world of STEM

The Makery on the move is fun and creative way to introduce young people to the world of STEM.  These fun sessions will be delivered to libraries across Hampshire during school holidays.

Makery on the Move Summer Digital Sessions

Hampshire Libraries and Hampshire School Library Service are delighted to share with you details of our exciting digital sessions during the summer.

We will be visiting a Hampshire Library near you with Space Chase themed coding, digital animation and Lego Robotics sessions.

Sessions are suitable for children aged 8-13 and are just £8 a ticket.
