To celebrate World Book Day we are inviting primary and secondary schools to join in the fun and take part in Tweet a Tale on Twitter.

We will supply the opening line, with hashtags for primary and secondary schools, and you are invited, along with and in discussion with your pupils, to add a line to the previous one to create a short story!

The opening line will be tweeted at 8am on World Book Day, Thursday 2 March. Please include the appropriate hashtag for your school type in your new lines.

The hashtag for primaries will be #TaTP

The hashtag for Secondaries will be #TaTS
